Adult Tonsillar Hypertrophy
The procedure is typically completed within a few minutes.
Performed under sedation or general anesthesia.
Patients typically experience minimal downtime, with most returning to normal activities the same day or the following day. Mild, temporary discomfort may occur for up to two weeks after the procedure.
Most patients report minimal discomfort, which can be managed with additional anesthesia.
Bleeding is not expected during or after the procedure.

Pediatric Adenotonsillar Hypertrophy
Completed within a few minutes.
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia.
Children typically recover quickly once the effects of the anesthesia wear off, with a rapid return to regular activities.
Children typically experience little to no pain, with mild discomfort manageable with additional anesthesia.
Bleeding is not expected during or after the procedure.

Inferior Turbinate Hypertrophy
The procedure is typically completed in approximately 5 minutes.
The procedure is performed under local or topical anesthesia, based on patient comfort and clinical need.
